BOGURA, Dec 5, 2025 (BSS) - Prayers and supplications were offered at different mosques here in the district today seeking speedy recovery of former Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia.

After Jum'ah prayers, district and local level leaders, activists and devotees participated in prayers and supplications in mosques of 12 upazilas of the district on the occasion.

Bogura District BNP President Rezaul Karim Badsha, BNP National Executive Committee members VP Saiful Islam, Ali Azgar Talukder Hena, Joynal Abedin Chan, District BNP Acting General Secretary Mosharraf Hossain, Vice President MR Islam Swadhin, Joint Secretary Sheikh Tahauddin Nahin, Organizing Secretary Shaheed Un Nabi Salam and other leaders participated in the prayers and supplications at the Jamil Madrasa.

Meanwhile, former district BNP general secretary Fazlul Bari Talukder Belal, Bogura Press Club president Rezaul Hasan Ranu and general secretary Kalam Azad, vice-president Rahat Ahmed Ritu, Bogura Journalists Union general secretary Abu Sayeed, Bogura Photojournalist Association president Abdur Rahim and other devotees participated in the prayers at the Baitur Rahman Central Mosque.
