BAGERHAT, Dec 1, 2025 (BSS) - The newly constructed five-storey academic building of Bagerhat Government Technical School and College was formally handed over and inaugurated this afternoon through a colorful ceremony on the college campus.

Md. Mizanur Rahman, Deputy Secretary and Regional Director of the Directorate of Technical Education, Khulna, attended the event as the chief guest. Executive Engineer of the Directorate of Education Engineering, Bagerhat, Nafiz Akhter, and Regional Director of the Directorate of Technical Education, Khulna, Sushanta Kumar Saha, were present as special guests.

The program was presided over by the institution's Principal, Badsha Mia.

Speakers at the event expressed optimism that the new building would enhance the institution's academic activities. They urged everyone to work collectively to equip students with advanced skills in modern and technical education.

According to officials, the new five-storey building is expected to significantly improve classroom facilities, laboratory resources, and the overall academic environment for students.
