KHULNA, Nov 16, 2025 (BSS) - Members of the Rapid Action Battalion-6 (RAB) arrested two accused in a murder case from the Ganna Bazar area under Sadar Police Station in Jhenaidah district last night.

The arrestees have been identified as Babu, 28, and Rezaul, 52, son of Rabjel. Both are residents of Gobindahuda village under Damurhuda Police Station in Chuadanga district, said a RAB-6 press release today.

The release said a joint team of RAB-6, CPC-2 of Jhenaidah, and RAB-12, CPC-3 under Meherpur Camp conducted an operation in the Ganna Bazar area.

During the raid, the team arrested two fugitives wanted in a murder case filed with Damurhuda Police Station in Chuadanga district.

The arrested individuals were later handed over to Sadar Police Station in Jhenaidah for further legal action.

RAB continues its regular operations to arrest accused persons in pending cases, convicted and warrant-listed fugitives, as well as armed criminals, drug dealers, and individuals involved in sensational crimes including murder and rape, earning public trust and confidence, the release added.
