NATORE, Nov 4, 2025 (BSS) - The government has taken programme to distribute seeds and fertilizers among 4,970 small and marginal farmers in Singra upazila of the district for cultivating Robi crops during the current year.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mazharul Islam inaugurated the program at the upazila Farmer Training Hall on Tuesday. 

Upazila Agriculture Officer Khandaker Farid Hasan said that under the incentive, the beneficiary farmers are being provided with wheat, peanuts, winter onions, mustard, lentils and khesari pulses and necessary chemical fertilizers for cultivation of one bigha of land. 

The incentive seeds and fertilizers will be provided in phases.
