JHALAKATHI, Oct 25, 2025 (BSS) – A man was killed in a road accident in Nalbunia area under Rajapur upazila of the district today.
 
The deceased was Nasim Uddin Akon, a resident of Rajapur upazila in Jhalakathi district.  
 
“The accident took place on the Rajapur-Bhandaria highway around 12 noon when a bus ‘Hamim Paribahan’ hit a motorcycle from behind, leaving its rider Nasim injured critically,” said Ismail Hossain, Officer-in-Charge of Rajapur Police Station.
 
Later, he died on the way to Barishal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital.
