CHATTOGRAM, Dec 2, 2021 (BSS) - A total of four people were detected
positive for Coronavirus in the last 24 hours after testing 1516 samples in
nine COVID-19 laboratories in Chattogram district.

  Among the newly detected patients, three are from Chattogram city and four
from different upazilas of the district, hospital sources said.

  The total number of recovered patients from Coronavirus rose to 92,036 with
the curing of 121 more people in the last 24 hours, said Dr Ilias Chowdhury,
civil surgeon of Chattogram.

  Chattogram district recorded lowest Covid-19 positivity rate of 0.46
percent during the last 24 hours till Thursday morning.

  With the newly infected cases, the number of Coronavirus (COVID-19)
patients stands at 102,409 in the district.

 With no new death recorded in the last 24 hours, the death toll steady 1,331
in the district.

  A total of 492 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at designated
hospitals here, the sources added.
