KHULNA, Sept 8, 2020 (BSS) - A woman was allegedly beaten to death following
a quarrel over a land [paddy field] dispute in Dacope upazila here on Monday.
The deceased was identified as Rekha Rani Mondal, 42, a resident of Gunari
village under Sutarkhali Union of the upazila.
According to local Union Parishad member Murari Halder, the incident took
place around 9:30 am when Rekha's calf entered the paddy field of one Milon
Goldar.
