The Gaoucia Committee Bangladesh has also called upon devotees to bring out processions in district headquarters across the country to mark the day.

ARAST Secretary General Muhammad Anwar Hossain disclosed details of the programme at a press conference at Sholosohor Alamgir Khankha Sharif earlier today.

Preparations are underway not only in Chattogram city but also in districts, upazilas and villages across the division.

The city streets have been decorated with arches, banners, festoons and national flags and Anjuman flags ahead of the celebration. Organizers urged participants to follow security guidelines and cooperate with the police and volunteers for the smooth conduct of the event.

The procession will march through Bibirhat, Muradpur, Sholosohor Gate No. 2, and GEC Circle before returning to Jamia Ahmadia Sunnia Kamil Madrasa ground.
