DHAKA, Sept 2, 2025 (BSS) - A motorcyclist was killed today in a collision between a pickup van, CNG and a motorbike on the flyover slope on Jasim Uddin Road in the capital's Uttara West.
 
The deceased was identified as the motorcyclist Fuad Hasan Hridoy (26), son of Mohammad Faizur Rahman , hailed from Khas Naogaon Islampur Village in Naogaon Sadar.
 
The incident took place around 6:30 am today, police and hospital sources said. 
 
 The injured was rescued to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the doctor on duty declared him dead around 8:30 am today.
 
Mohammad Rajib Hasan, who brought the deceased to the hospital said that he saw the young man lying on the road in the early hours of this morning and rescued him in an injured condition and brought him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
 
The on-duty doctor declared him dead, he added.
