MAGURA, 27 Aug, 2025 (BSS) – A child named Maruf (8) was killed in a van accident in sadar upazila of the district yesterday (26 August). The accident occurred in the Sangda Laxmipur Imam Ali intersection in sadar upazila.

Officer- in- charge (OC) of Magura Sadar Police thana Mohammad Ayub Ali told BSS “ The accident took place when a van lost control and it ran over the child” 

The body of the child will be handed over after completing legal procedure, he added.
