KHULNA, Aug 26, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Army arrested three alleged convicted 
accused from Rupsha upazila of Khulna district on Tuesday morning.

The arrested were identified as Sohag, 25, and Mohammad Ferdous Laden, 23, 
residents of Belfulia Nandanpur Bowbazar, and Mohibullah Gazi Bobi, 37, of 
Deyara village in Jugihatri union under Rupsha upazila of the district.

Md Mahfuzur Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Rupsha Police Station, 
confirmed.

The arrested were at large for a long time and were involved in extortion, 
terrorism, and drug trading and were accused in several cases.

On a tip-off, a team of Bangladesh Army led by Major Abdullah Mohammad Kayes 
conducted a raid in Musabbarpur village of the upazila and arrested the trio.

Later, the arrested were handed over to the Rupsha Police Station, he added.
