KURIGRAM, Aug 19, 2025 (BSS) - A farmer died from electrocution at Jyotindra 
Narayan village in Shimulbari union under Phulbari upazila of the district 
this morning.

The deceased was Abdul Sattar, 50, son of late Sekender Ali of the village.

Abdul Sattar came in touch with a live electric wire while he was starting an 
irrigation pump around 10 am at his firm land near his house.

He died on the spot.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fulbari Police Station Abdus Salam confirmed.
