MANIKGANJ, Aug 18, 2025 (BSS)- Miscreants killed a cattle farm owner at the village Talebpur under Singair Upazila in the district here today.

The locals and family sources a group of dacoits entered into a cattle farm of Mohir Uddin,75 in the early hours on Monday and tried to take away some cattle heads. 

As the owner of the farm tried to resist the dacoits chopped him with the sharp weapons leaving him critically injured.
 
The family members of the farm owner brought him to Singair Upazila Health Complex from where he was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital. At 10 am he died in the hospital.

Senior Assistant SP Fahim Asjad said a band of 10/12 dacoits entered into the farm took away four cows.

A case was filed with Singair thana in this connection.
