KHULNA, Aug 10, 2025 (BSS) - Islami Andolan Bangladesh (IAB) has announced candidates for all 6 parliamentary constituencies in Khulna for the coming national election.

Sheikh Md. Nasir Uddin, Vice President of IAB Khulna City and Convener of the Media Cell, in a press release today said that Islami Andolan Amir and Charmonai Pir Mufti Syed Mohammad Rezaul Karim announced the names of the candidates for Khulna’s six parliamentary seats at a public rally in Shibbari intersection on July 26.

IAB candidates will join the election with party’s election symbol “Hand Fan”.

The six constituencies are Maulana Abu Sayeed, vice president of Khulna district unit IAB, has got party ticket for Khulna-1 constituency, Maulana Mufti Amanullah, Khulna city unit president for Khulna-2, Hafez Maulana Principal Abdul Awal, Central Nayeb-e-Amir, for Khulna-3, Hafez Maulana Principal Yunus Ahmad, Central Secretary General of IAB, for Khulna-4, Maulana Mufti Abdus Salam, Dumuria Upazila Vice President of IAB, for Khulna-5 and Hafez Asadullah Al Galib, Khulna District Unit Secretary, for Khulna – 6 constituency.

The Central Candidate Selection Committee of IAB finalized the candidates for Khulna’s six constituencies, Nasir Uddin said, adding that the candidates could be changed if an Islamic alliance is formed.
