JAMALPUR, Feb 15, 2024 (BSS) - Train communication on Jamalpur-Mymensingh route resumed after rescuing derailed bogies this afternoon.

Jamalpur Station Master Sheikh Uzzal Mahmud said three bogies of 256 No down local train derailed at Piyarpur station around 12noon.

After the accident, a relief train rushed to the spot and rescued the bogies and resumed train operation on the route at 3:45 pm.

 The local train was going to Mymensingh station from Dewanganj station.
No one was hurt in the accident.
