CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Feb 9, 2024 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)

arrested three accused persons for grabbing lands of others and extortion
from Niamatpur in Naogaon district early today.

The arrested were Md Mainul Islam, 30, Md Ibrahim Ali, 40 and Motiur Rahman
Moti, 50 all of Badechakla village under Niamatpur upazila in Naogaon
district.

RAB said, acting on complaints against them with Naogaon police station, an
operation team of RAB-5 raided Badechakla village under Niamatpur upazila in
Naogaon district at around 3:40 am and arrested them.

Later, the elite force handed them over to the police of Niamatpur thana, the
sources added.
