CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Jan 22, 2024 (BSS) - Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)

arrested two alleged drug peddlers with 129 bottles of contraband Indian
phensedyl from Shibganj upazila of the district last night.

The arrested were Md. Anarul Islam, 27, of Bonpara Bhabanipur and Md. Moshiur
Rahman, 24, of Tarapur Hatatpara under Shibganj upazila.

RAB sources said, an operation team of the RAB-5 from Chapainawabganj camp,
on detective information, conducted a raid in Nayalabhanga village under
Shibganj upazila of the district around 10.30 pm and nabbed the duo with the
contraband drugs.

Later, the elite force handed them over to the police of Shibganj thana with
a case, the sources added.
