KURIGRAM, Jan 21, 2024 (BSS) - A man and his son were killed in a collision between a three wheeler Nosimon and their motorcycle in Pateshwari area of the district today.

The deceased were identified as Shahidul Islam, 48, and his son Biplob Hasan, 25. They were the residents at Sarkerbari village in Kachakata Thana area.

The accident occurred this morning on Bhurungamari-Shonahat Land Port road when the three-wheeler crashed into the motorcycle coming from the opposite direction in Patershawari area, leaving the two critically injured, locals said.

They were brought to Bhurungamari Upazila Health Complex where the duty doctor declared them dead.

Officer-in-Charge Bhurungamari Thana Ruhul Amin confirmed it.
A case is being processed to file, he added.
