NILPHAMARI, Jan 19, 2024 (BSS) - A total of 300 blankets were distributed among the helpless and cold-hit people living in Saidpur upazila of the district today.

The warm clothes were distributed from the relief and welfare fund of the Lions Club of Saidpur Sunflower.

Saidpur Upazila Parishad Chairman (Acting) Md. Ajmal Hossain handed over the blankets as the chief guest among the helpless and cold-hit people living of the upazila, at a programme held on the premises of Saidpur Sunflower School and College with president of Lions Club of Saidpur Sunflower, Lion Kahinur Begum in the chair this morning.

Lion Kazi Md. Ekramul Haque, President of the Board of Directors of the Sunflower School and College (Acting) Syed Shah Md. Fazlur Rahman Nasim, Principal Lion Mokhleshur Rahman Jewel, Head Teacher Lion Abdul Latif, General Secretary of Lions Club of Saidpur Sunflower Javed Ali Sheikh, among others, were present on the occasion.
