Panchagarh, Jan 17, 2024 (BSS) - Warm clothes and school bags were distributed among school and Madrasa going 1,000 children in Boda upazila here today.
 
Former students of Jahangirnagar University, Shishu Sargo Foundation, Lions Club of Dhaka Imperial and Everest Pharmaceuticals jointly arranged the distribution programme.
 
The distribution function was held at Vashi Nagar Government Primary School.
 
Additional police super SM Safiqul Islam, Boda upazila chairman Faruk Alam Tobi, Boda Municipality Mayor Azahar Ali, Boda upazila nirbahi officer Shahoriar Najir, Associate Professor of Jahangirnagar University A.S.M. Firoj ul Hasan, Shisho Sargo Foundation director Kabir Akandha were present at the function with Everest Pharmaceuticals director Arjon Mallik in the chair.
 
They urged the affluent people of society to come forward for the cold-hit people and mitigate their sufferings.
