BHOLA, Jan 13, 2024 (BSS) - A three-day long public awareness training course on fire fighting, search, rescue and first aid began in the district today.

Deputy Commissioner (DC) Arifuzzaman inaugurated the training course as the chief guest on the Fire Service and Civil Defense station premises in the district town with Deputy Assistant Director of District Fire Service and Civil Defense Md Liton Ahmed in the chair this morning.

District Fire Service and Civil Defense Department organized the training course.

Executive Magistrate of the District Administration Md. Ziaul Haque, Station Officers of Sadar upazila Fire Service Station Officer Md. Suman Miah, Charfashion upazila Fire Service Station Officer Md. Asaduzzaman and Daulatkhan upazila Fire Service Station Officer Mizanur Rahman, among others, were present.

Students from various educational institutions, members of Red Crescent units and volunteers, took part in the training course, Deputy Assistant Director of District Fire Service and Civil Defense Md Liton Ahmed said.
