BOGURA, Sept 3, 2021 (BSS) – A motorcycle rider was crushed under the wheels of a truck on Dhaka-Bogura highway in front of Shajapur TMSS filling station in Shahjahanpur upazila of the district this morning.

The deceased was identified as Raj Kumar Debnath, 36, son of Badal Kumar Debnath, resident of Tarapur village in Santahar municipality under Adamdighi upazila of the district.

AKM Baniul Anam, in-charge of Sherpur Highway Police Camp said the accident occurred on the Dhaka-Bogura highway in front of Shajapur TMSS filling station around 7am, when Raj Kumar was on his way to Dhaka on his motorcycle from home. He died on the spot.

A case was filed in this connection, police official added.
