DHAKA, Sept 3, 2026 (BSS) - At least seventeen Bangladeshi textile and apparel companies showcased their products and manufacturing capabilities at Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris 2026, strengthening the country's presence in the global textile and fashion supply chain.
The 59th edition of the international trade fair was held from August 31 to September 2 at the Le Bourget Exhibition Centre in Paris, France, organised by Messe Frankfurt, said a press release issued today.
Around 1,300 manufacturers from nearly 35 countries participated in the three-day event, bringing together buyers, exhibitors and industry professionals from major textile and apparel-producing markets, including Bangladesh, China, India, Pakistan, Trkiye, Myanmar, South Korea, Japan and Italy.
Bangladesh participated with 17 exhibitors, highlighting its diverse textile and apparel manufacturing capabilities and reinforcing its position as the world's second-largest sourcing hub for finished apparel after China.
The participating Bangladeshi companies were -- Bnm Garments Industry, Bengal Glory, Comoda Garments, Corus Fashion, Dk Textile, Ducati Apparels, Fabitex Industries, Fabrica Knit Composite, H&f Fashion, Hoorain High Tech (Htf), Nexgen Apparel, Norban Comtex, Nz Denim, Nz Fabric, Sim Fabrics, Skylark Knit Composite and Warptex.
The Bangladeshi exhibitors presented their latest products and capabilities to international buyers and visitors, creating opportunities for new business relationships, exploring emerging sourcing markets and expanding export destinations.
The participating companies described their experience at the fair as positive and productive, citing encouraging interactions with international buyers, new business contacts and promising export opportunities.
They also highlighted the role of the Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) Pavilion, saying it provided a coordinated platform for promoting Bangladeshi products and enhancing the visibility of the country's textile and apparel sector in the international market.
The participation of the Bangladeshi companies is expected to contribute to strengthening the country's image as a competitive and reliable sourcing destination for global textile and apparel buyers.
