LONDON, Oct 22, 2025 (BSS/AFP) - Britain's annual inflation rate for September remained far above the Bank of England's target, official data showed Wednesday, keeping pressure on the Labour government before its key budget next month.
The Consumer Prices Index stood at 3.8 percent in September, unchanged from August, the Office for National Statistics said in a statement.
The Bank of England's target rate stands at 2.0 percent.
