DHAKA, Oct 21, 2021 (BSS) - A delegation of Institute of Cost and

Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) led by its President Abu Bakar
Siddique met Prof. Dr.Shibli Rubaiyat-ul Islam, Chairman of Bangladesh
Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC) at his office today.

   They discussed matters related to professional interest during the
meeting.

   The ICMAB president apprised the chairman regarding the present status and
activities of the Institute and sought all out support from the government
for its further and rapid development, said a press release.

   The BSEC chairman highly appreciated the role of the professional
accountants in the economic development of the country and assured to provide
full co-operation for the development of CMA profession.

   Vice-President Md. Mamunur Rashid, Treasurer A.K.M. Kamruzzaman, Past
President and Council Member Md. Jasim Uddin Akond and Executive Director
Muhammad Abdullah were present at the meeting.

   President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) and Past
President of ICMAB A. K. M. Delwer Hussain was present.
