COPENHAGEN, May 2, 2024 (BSS/AFP) - Danish pharmaceutical giant and weight loss drugmaker Novo Nordisk said Thursday net profit had risen by 28 percent in the first quarter.

A company statement said net profit stood at 25.4 billion kroner ($3.6 billion) while turnover rose 24 percent to 65.3 billion kroner.
