DHAKA, Aug 27, 2026 (BSS) - The Bangladesh U-17 men’s football team have been drawn with United Arab Emirates (UAE),  Syria, Bhutan and Macau in Group C of AFC U17 Asian Cup Uzbekistan 2027 Qualifiers, following the official draw held today (Thursday) at the AFC House in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The boys in red and green will travel to UAE, the hosts for Group c, to compete in a single round-robin league format from November 8 to 20.

Only the seven group winners from the Qualifiers will progress to next year’s Finals and join the nine AFC representatives from the FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2026 who have automatically qualified, namely Australia, China PR, Japan, Korea Republic, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Vietnam.

The Qualifiers draw split thirty five teams into seven groups of five. The group winners will qualify for the AFC U17 Asian Cup 2027, which is scheduled to be held in Uzbekistan from May 12 to 29, next year.
