DHAKA, Aug 18, 2026 (BSS)- Rajshahi Stars FC have begun their preparations with an aim to bounce back after suffering a defeat to East Bengal in their
debut match of the AFC Women's Champions League.
The team held a recovery session at Stadium Mini Sekolah Sukan Negeri Sabah today (Tuesday) in Malaysia. The main objective of the session was to help
the players recover from the exertion of the opening match and regain their freshness.
Team physiotherapist Rebecca Sultana said the players are working to adapt to the local conditions.
Defender Puja Das said they are prepared to put the result of the first match behind them and aim to bounce back in the next game with full of vigor.
Rajshahi Stars will play their next group match against Sabah FA of Malaysia on Thursday (Aug 20) before playing their ultimate group match against Rovers
FC of Guam on August 23.
Earlier on Monday, Rajshahi Stars conceded a 4-0 goals defeat to East Bengal FC of India in their opening group match.
