DHAKA, Aug 3, 2026 (BSS) - Bangladesh FIDE Master Tahsin Tazwar Zia shared second place along with other two players with 1.5 points after two rounds of the Rudar XXXV-A Grandmasters Chess Tournament which is now being held in Požarevac, Serbia.

In the second round game, he split point with his Serbian Grandmaster Andrey Shariyazdanov.

Earlier, in the first round, Tahsin got off to auspicious start by defeating FIDE Master Aarav Sarbalia of India.
