DHAKA, July 31, 2026 (BSS)- International Master (IM) Manon Reja Neer of Bangladesh took solo lead with 4.5 points after the fifth round of Six Days July Grandmaster-B Chess Tournament which is now being held in Budapest, Hungary.

In the fifth round, he defeated his Hungarian Grandmaster (GM) Dávid Bérczes. He played with the white pieces, faced GM D vid B,rczes, who employed the French Defense.

The game continued to the Advance Variation, IM Neer secured an impressive victory at 28 moves.
