DHAKA, July 29, 2026 (BSS)- Gouripur Sporting Club edged past Chawkbazar Kings by a solitary goal in a match of the Second Division (U-18) Football League held today (Wednesday) at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city's Kamalapur area.

In the day's match, Faysal Ahmed Akash scored the all-important goal for Gouripur in the 45+3rd minute of the match.

In the day's other match also held at the same venue, Jabid Ahsan Sohel Krira Chakra split points with Khilgaon Football Academy when their match ended in a 1-1 goal draw.

In the proceeding, Rabbi Hasan put Khilgaon ahead in the 35th minute while Sharif Uddin Sohan restored the parity for Jabid Ahsan Sohel Krira Chakra in the 80th minute of the match.

In the another match of the day, Tongi Krira Chakra also shared point BG Press S&RC when their match ended in a tame goalless draw held at the same venue.
