DHAKA, July 18, 2026 (BSS)- The second President Bangladesh Squash 2026 got 
underway today (Saturday) at Bashundhara Sports City in the capital.

In the inaugural session, Bangladesh Squash Federation (BSF) General 
Secretary Brigadier General G.M Quamrul Islam, SPP (Retd.), executive 
committee member Brig. Gen. Nasimul Gani (retd.), and chief executive officer 
of Bashundhara Sports City Colonel Mohasinul Karim (retd.), along with 
officials of the federation and the Bashundhara Group were present.

Held under the supervision of the BSF, the tournament is organised by the 
Bangladesh Professional Squash Association (BPSA) with the approval of the 
Professional Squash Association (PSA) and the support of the Bangladesh 
government. 

It is the first PSA-approved professional squash tournament organised by the 
BPSA in Bangladesh, making it a landmark event in the country's squash 
history.

The tournament will conclude on Monday (July 20).
