DHAKA, July 17, 2026 (BSS)- International Master (IM) Manon Reja Neer of 
Bangladesh defeated International Master Han Yichen of Netherlands in the 
seventh round of the Vezerkepzo Summer Grandmaster Chess Tournament which is 
now being held in Budapest, Hungary.
 
In the seventh round held on Thursday, IM Neer played with the white pieces 
and won against IM Yichen. 

Earlier, in the sixth round, IM Neer lost to Indian IM Dhruva Thota of India.
 
Neer is now sharing leads in the points table with four points out of seven 
games along with other three players.
