DHAKA, June 18, 2026 (BSS) -The Scholastica Inter-School Handball and Volleyball tournament concluded with a colorful prize-giving ceremony at Scholastica senior campus, said a press release.

The tournament, which concluded on Wednesday last, was sponsored by one of the country's leading brands, Cute. The event brought together students from eight of Dhaka's leading schools.

In addition to the host, Scholastica Mirpur, the participating schools included Scholastica Uttara, Sunnydale, Southbridge, Green Herald, Summerfield, BISC, and Glenrich International School.

The volleyball competition featured nine boys' teams and seven girls' teams, while the handball competition included six boys' teams and four girls' teams. 

After three days of intense and competitive matches, the champions were finally selected.

Sunnydale School dominated the handball competition, winning both the boys' and girls' titles. In the girls' final, Sunnydale defeated the host, Scholastica Mirpur, to lift the championships trophy.

The boys' team followed suit by overcoming Scholastica Mirpur in the final, completing a memorable double triumph. 

The volleyball finals also produced thrilling contests. In the girls' division, Scholastica Uttara defeated Southbridge School to claim the championship while Southbridge, however, bounced back in the boys' competition by defeating SFX Green Herald in the final to win the title.
