DHAKA, May 14, 2026 (BSS)- Rakib Hasnat of BBC became the champion in the table tennis singles category of the Cute-DRU Sports Festival beating Rumel Khan of Protidiner Bangladesh by 2–1 sets in the final held at Shaheed Tajuddin Ahmed Indoor Stadium today (Thursday).

In the place-deciding match, Mahmudun Nabi Chanchal of Khaborer Kagoj defeated Jafar Iqbal of Naya Diganta by 2–1 sets.

In the table tennis doubles event, Rakib Hasnat of BBC and Shamim Hasan from Protidiner Bangladesh pair became champions.

Romel Khan of Protidiner Bangladesh and Mahmudun Nabi Chanchal of Khaborer Kagoj pair finished as runners-up while Joytimoy Mondal of Jugantor and Jafar Iqbal of Naya Diganta pair finished third in the category.
