DHAKA, May 5, 2026 (BSS)- City Club maintained solo lead in the points table 
with a twelve points from six matches after the seventh round of 1st Division 
Chess League held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room today (Tuesday).

64 Square Chess Club and Classic Chess Academy took the jointly shared the 
second position with nine points while Elegant International Chess Academy 
sit the third position with seven points.

In the day's matches, City Club defeated Shafiuddin Shah Smrity Sangsad by 4-
0 game points, 64 Square Chess Club split point with Elegant International 
Chess Academy by 2-2 in game points, Classic Chess Academy beat Checkmate by 
3.5-0.5 game points and Abdun Noor Bhuiyan Memorial Chess Club split point 
with Sports Bangla 'B' by 2-2 game points.
