SEOUL, May 4, 2026 (BSS/AFP) - A North Korean football club will play a match in South Korea this month, Seoul's unification ministry said Monday, the first time a sports team from the North has travelled to the South since 2018.

The ministry said North Korean authorities sent them a "notification of a 39-member delegation" from Naegohyang Women's FC, who will play the South's Suwon FC Women on May 20.
