DHAKA, June 29, 2026 (BSS) – The 2nd Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protishthan (BKSP) Cup Judo Kata Championship was held at BKSP, bringing together judokas from BKSP, the Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Ansar in a one-day competition.

In the men's category, the BKSP pair of Md. Asaduzzohha Bandhan and Shipon Ali emerged as champions. The BKSP duo of Shahin Ahmed and Sudwipta Roy Mom finished runners-up. Joint third place was secured by the BKSP pair of Jubayer Rahman and Hlathoi Ching Marma, and the Bangladesh Army duo of Aprushe Marma and Saddam Gazi.

In the women's category, the Bangladesh Army pair of Mst Sonia and Anika Akter claimed the championship title. The BKSP duo of Sifat Ara Shoshi and Remi Hasi finished as runners-up.

Joint third place went to the BKSP pair of Shrabani Rani and Sumaiya Akter Lamia, and the Bangladesh Ansar duo of Mashinu Marma and Singma Pru Marma.

BKSP Director General Brigadier General Mohammad Saif Ullah attended the prize-giving ceremony as the chief guest and distributed prizes among the winners’. 

BKSP director (training) Colonel Md. Golam Mabud Hasan was also present at the ceremony. 
A total of sixty judokas participated in the championship.
