DHAKA, April 28, 2026 (BSS) - Spirited Bangladesh women's hockey team face Singapore in the first semifinal of Women's Asian Games Qualifying Hockey tournament scheduled to be held at Gelora Bung Karno Sports Complex in Jakarta, Indonesia today afternoon.

The match kicks off at 4.30 pm Bangladesh time.

Earlier, Bangladesh played out to a 5-5 draw against Chinese Taipei in their opening match and bounced back strongly to register their maiden win at the international level beating Uzbekistan 3-2 in the second match.

Bangladesh women's hockey team booked their place in the debut Asian Games after securing a 2-1 victory over Hong Kong in their ultimate group match.
