DHAKA, April 27, 2026 (BSS) - Cute Women's Handball League, organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation (BHF), has begun at Joypurhat district stadium in Joypurhat today (Monday).

The opening ceremony formally begun through a colorful rally with Joypurhat deputy commissioner and district magistrate Md Al-Mamun Mia formally inaugurated the league as the chief guest. 

Joypurhat district police superintendent Mina Mahmuda and BHF technical committee's joint member secretary and cute district based handball league coordinator Sayeed Ahmed were present as special guests.

Additional deputy commissioner (general) Md Nurul Islam presided over the opening ceremony.

On the first day of the league, sponsored by Maushumi Industries Limited, KT Sports Club, Joypurhat Kabaddi Aademy, Ultar Joypurhat Jubo Sangha and Khonjonpur Sports Academy won their respective matches.
