DHAKA, April 13, 2026 (BSS)- Ending all speculation, the Cricket Committee of 
Dhaka Metropolis (CCDM) has announced that player transfers for the Dhaka 
Premier League (DPL) 2025-26 season will be held on April 18 and 19.

The transfers will take place from 11:00am to 5:00pm on both days at the CCDM 
office at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

The CCDM, however, is yet to announce the official start date of the league, 
widely regarded as the country's premier List A competition.

Officials said efforts are underway to begin the tournament in the first week 
of May.

The 12 teams participating in competition are: Abahani Limited, Mohammedan 
Sporting Club Ltd, Gazi Group Cricketers, Legends of Rupganj, Gulshan Cricket 
Club, Agrani Bank Cricket Club, Prime Bank Cricket Club, Bashundhara Strikers 
(Dhanmondi Sports Club), Rupganj Tigers Cricket Club, Brothers Union Limited, 
City Club and Dhaka Leopards.
