DHAKA, April 13, 2026 (BSS)- Boishakhi Sports Festival, marking the Bengali New Year 1433, will be celebrated at Paltan Ground tomorrow.

State Minister for Youth and Sports Md Aminul Haque is expected to present in the opening ceremony as the chief guest.  

Moushumi Industries Limited will organize the day-long events which will feature the traditional rural sports of the country.   

The sports include archery, volley ball, sepak takraw, kho kho, kabaddi, latikhela and boli khela, most prominent traditional wrestling sport of Chattogram.

Youth and Sports Ministry secretary Mahbub-Ul-Alam will present in the closing ceremony as the chief guest.
