DHAKA, Feb 6, 2026 (BSS)- Nilphamari U-17 district football team, came from behind, registered a 2-1 goals victory against Thakurgaon U-17 district football team in a Teesta zone match of the U-17 National Championship held at Shaheed Abu Sayed Stadium in Rangpur today (Friday).

In the day's match, Sojit Marma put Tharkurgaon ahead early in the 3rd minute while Mitul Islam restored the parity for Nilphamari in the 20th minute of the match.

After the breather, Md Jahan Islam sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Nilphamari in the 65th minute of the match.

In the day's other match, Gaibandha U-17 district football team split points with Kurigram U-17 district football team when their match ended in a tame goalless draw also held at the same venue.
