DHAKA, Feb 5, 2026 (BSS) - Rangpur and Dinajpur U-17 district football teams 
won their respective matches in the Teesta zone matches of the U-17 National 
Championship held at Shaheed Abu Sayed Stadium in Rangpur today (Thursday).

In the day's first match, Rangpur U-17 district football team beat 
Lalmonirhat U-17 district football team by 2-0 goals.

In the proceeding, Md Ismail Hossain Emon put Rangpur ahead early in the 
second minute while Lemon Mia sealed the victory scoring the second goal for 
Rangpur in the 34th minute of the match.

Lemon Mia of Rangpur was named the player of the match for his impressive 
performance.

In the day's other match, Dinajpur U-17 district football team defeated 
Panchagarh U-17 district football team also by the same identical margin of 
2-0 goals.

Neloy Roy opened an account scoring the first goal for Dinajpur in the 34th 
minute while after the breather Farhad Islam doubled the lead scoring the 
second goal for the winning team in the 85th minute of the match.

Abdur Razzaq of Dinajpur was named the player of the match for his 
outstanding performance in the match.
