DHAKA, Jan 14, 2026 (BSS) - Madaripur U-17 district football team blanked 
Munshiganj U-17 district football team by 2-0 goals to reach semifinal as 
group B runners-up in the Festival of Youth U-17 National Football 
Championship held at Rajbari district stadium in Rajbari today (Wednesday).

In the proceeding, Sajal Munshi finally broke the deadlock scoring the first 
goal for Madaripur in the 44th minute while after the breather Sakib Hawlader 
sealed the victory scoring the second goal for Madaripur in the 48th minute 
of the match.

Sakib Hawlader of Maradipur was named the player of the match for his 
impressive performance.
