DHAKA, Jan 12, 2026 (BSS) - The Women's Chess League, organised by the 
Bangladesh Chess Federation, will begin January 23 at the Chess Federation 
hall-room.
 
All women's and girls' chess teams are invited to participate in this Women's 
Chess League, said a press release here today.

Interested women's chess teams are requested to submit their team names along 
with an entry fee of Taka 1,000 by January 21.

Meanwhile, invitations have already been sent to the previous Women's Chess 
League champion Bangladesh Navy, runners-up Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh 
Ansar and VDP, Titas Club, Manha's Castle, Sadharan Bima Sporting Club, 
Uttara Central Chess Club, Elegant International Chess Academy, Agami Chess 
Guild, Pawn Power Chess Club and Dhaka Chess Academy.

The matches of Women's Chess League will be conducted under the round-robin 
league system.
