DHAKA, Dec 18, 2025 (BSS) - Former national football team captain and BNP's Central Sports Affairs Secretary Aminul Haque has assured his support to Lakshmipur district's young footballer Nadeem in fulfilling his dream.

The eight-year-old footballer had been expressing his desire to meet the SAFF-winning footballer for a long time. Finally, the young footballer's dream came true when he was invited to meet Aminul Haque at his residence in Mirpur today (Thursday).

Aminul Haque, a legendary former Bangladeshi goalkeeper widely regarded as one of the greatest South Asian footballers, is known for his exceptional reflexes, game sense, and leadership. During the meeting, he advised Nadeem to continue his studies alongside sports.
