RAJSHAHI, Dec 17, 2025 (BSS) - The much-awaited Inter-college Football Tournament-2025 organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports is set to begin tomorrow.
 
Top-ranking college teams from all eight districts of the division are going to participate in the four-day tournament, which will be held on a knockout basis at two venues-Rajshahi Freedom Fighters Memorial Stadium and the Government Physical Education College playground, until December 22.

Divisional Commissioner Dr ANM Bazlur Rashid will inaugurate the tournament at Liberation War Memorial Stadium at 10am tomorrow.

In the opening match, Nawhata Government College in Rajshahi will take on Bera Government College in Pabna.

Talking to BSS here today, Commissioner Dr Bazlur Rashid expressed hope that the tournament would provide a significant platform for young players. "We aim to conduct the tournament with disciplined management and in a festive spirit," he said.
