DHAKA, Dec 15, 2025 (BSS)-Both the men‘s and women’s section finals of the Victory Day Handball Competition (men’s and women’s) will be held at Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital tomorrow (Tuesday).

On the day, Group champions Border Guard Bangladesh take on groups runners-up Bangladesh Ansar in the men’s section final at 3 pm following the women’s section final match between group champions Bangladesh Ansar meet group runners-up Bangladesh Police that kicks off at 12 noon.

Bangladesh Olympic Association secretary general Jubaidur Rahman Rana is expected to present in the finals as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.

Meanwhile, in the day’s women’s section group matches, Bangladesh Ansar beat Bangladesh Police by 39-31 points after leading the first half by 20-16 goals while Faruk Tomal Sports Academy defeated Border Guard Bangladesh by 29-24 goals after leading the first half by 14-13 goals.  
     
In the men’s group section matches, Bangladesh Police beat Team Handball Dhaka by 42-22 goals after leading the first half by 20-13 goals while Border Guard Bangladesh outclassed Bangladesh Ansar by 30-27 goals after trailing the first half by 15-14 goals.
