DHAKA, Dec 6, 2025 (BSS) - Former England opener Dawid Malan joined Rangpur 
Riders to play the upcoming 12th edition of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

The franchise confirmed his signing through an official statement today. 

Malan, who was No.1 T20 batter for a while during his International career 
represented Fortune Barishal in the last season.

He scored 316 runs in nine matches, including three half-centuries for 
Barishal in the last seasons.

Rangpur have also completed direct deals with Kyle Mayers, Iftikhar Ahmed and 
Faheem Ashraf. 

Among locals, they roped in Nurul Hasan Sohan and Mustafizur Rahman directly 
and picked players like Liton Das, Towhid Hridoy, Nahid Rana from the 
auction.

Meanwhile, Mickey Arthur was also announced as their head coach.
